My focus in creating games is to keep the player at the center of the experience. This comes from my training as a librarian and information scientist, where the role of the user is key. This theme cuts across my games, from tabletop games that are built around creating a specific experience for the player to transformative games for informal learning, to game design workshops and game jams for everyone, tomeaningful gamification focused on the benefit of the player instead of the organization.
