NASAGA conference 10/5-10/8

One of my favorite conferences each year is NASAGA.  It starts Wednesday night and runs through Saturday in Valley Forge, PA.  It's a chance to explore games and simulations in traning and teaching - you play many games and explore how you could apply those games to different settings.

Making Gameplay Matter: Designing Modern Educational Tabletop Games

The Sept./Oct. 2011 (vol. 40, issue 1) issue of Knowledge Quest, the publication of the American Association of School Librarians, is all about educational gaming.  The table of contents is online, but to get the full issue, you will need to get the journal through your local library or AASL.
