Music Game Jam a success

On Friday, November 25th, 25 game design students, 11 music students, and several WLU and Conestoga faculty members came together to make music-based games in 6 hours.  Dr. Nicholson led the game jam, helping the students with an initial brainstorming and letting the students select groups to create five types of games:  a live-action card game, a roleplaying game, a party game, an improv acting game, and an escape room.

You can find some videos of the games during their testing in the LB Game Design Facebook group:

It's our plan to do similar game jam with students with other faculties, as it creates an opportunity for game design students to explore other domains and students in other programs to see how they may use games in their own fields.
